The symposium deals with internal engine processes and their effects on fuel consumption, emissions and noise as well as with related measurement technology for small engines, passenger car engines, heavy-duty engines and large engines.

Following a long tradition, this conference is organized together with the LEC (Large Engines Competence Center). A separate parallel session is devoted to the area of large engines.
